Two cloaked figures stand as silent witnesses, gazing into a luminous, mystical realm. Inspired by Caspar David Friedrich’s “Two Men Contemplating the Moon”. Echoing themes of longing, mortality, faith and the divine in nature. I aimed to modernise and expand this tradition while keeping that romantic contemplative spirit alive. Ancient gnarled trees frame the scene with intricate cellular patterns, with a soft celestial orb glowing through the mist.
