White and ice-blue paint falls in thick vertical streaks, like meltwater over a frozen weir, with warm browns and teal showing through. The surface has dried into a fine web of cracks, where the light learned the shape of the water. Notions of serenity within the order of chaotic patterns melodically rhyming. Between one beat and the next, the blue holds still.
